It's Been a While!

Lot's of things have been going on in my world recently! First of all Dad has had a massive spinal operation, which he has come through very well, however it has maybe stopped any further deterioration, but he has not seen much improvement in the symptoms he had before the op.

My Eldest has not been doing so good, she seems to have taken a terrible phobic-type reaction to school and has literally not been able to get into the building without a severe physical and mental reaction! So we have had to call it quits and she has now officially left! Good news is that she has managed to get into college to do a beauty course and this has really perked up her confidence. She has interviews this week to see about doing a couple of Higher Exams along side this course at college.

I have not had a lot of time to craft with all of this going on but am posting my swaps for the crafts beautiful forum. A cake inspired bookmark and ATCs in the theme of butterflies.

I have a few wee orders for cards to do so I promise to post them as I get them done!!!!

Meet George

Good Morning.

I was introduced to George by Jenny and Martine on the CB forum and fell in love! So I speedily downloaded him from charmed cards and crafts and set to colouring him in.

We had great fun, I even ran out and bought some, rather expensive- but sooo worth it- whispers pens as the girls' pens were no good. I also used some fab wee paints called twinklingH2Os, also a bit of an investment- I do hope my other half doesn't read this!!!

I have a card order from my friend, Lorna, as she has several birthdays coming up so have been busy on them this morning, will post them later once I have finished.

Well that's Spring Break almost over, it has flown by far too quickly - when is the next holiday!!! Only joking, I am looking forward to getting back to school and seeing all my wee kids. This term is always chaotic so I will be kept going, particularly with the bi annual school production on at the end of the month- We are doing Snow White and the seven Jockeys.

Anyway I will go and finish my card order.

Tuesdays marathon makes

Hi all, it is a lovely sunny day in Kilbarchan today. So am taking Mum shopping later. Here are a few of yesterday's makes for the wee show I am taking part in . It is in Erskine on 27 th April and funds are being raised for new nursery there. Will post proper details nearer the time. Hope you all have a lovely Wednesday.

These are yesterday's projects. A hen party card for a friend to give to the bride to be from all her pals, the remit was pink and fluffy! Then I have done a couple of wee pictures for some friends' kids rooms. Hope you like these.

I make a lot of cards for school but it has never occurred to me to photograph my work until recently. This is a card that I was asked to make from us all to our Depute Head. I have to confess that it is one of my favourite cards to date!
